Restaurant Brandner in Regensburg

A very nice restaurant. The seats by the window and on the terrace offer a perfect view of the Danube and across to the old town. The staff are always courteous and very friendly. The food is special. During the Italian evening, cooking is done to order at the cooking stations. You can then put together the dish yourself. Starters are taken from the buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired! 100% recommendation !!

Were there for the second time, this time during Corona times. Everything works properly with a distance, mouth protection and disposable gloves. For the really great buffet and the food in general I would give me 6 points if that were possible möglich If you haven't been here yet, you've missed something

The menu was excellent. Food perfect. Warm, a treat for the eyes and the palate! There would be 5 stars if the staff were a little better, but that is purely a matter of training! They are all friendly, but not quick enough ... long waiting times until the menu comes, new drinks are ordered or the food comes. A shame, otherwise it would be an absolute top address in Regensburg! Please change that and you will see us more often ...

We have visited Regensburg on 14 Feb and looked for some cost place for dinner. Selected this one, as it had good rating and good photos here, on google maps. Didn’t expect anything special. By fact, restaurant didn’t have the menu, but only buffet. And we were not even informed about it, when booked table. The food was of quite poor. And the price was too expensive compared to choice and quality. Additionally they charged almost 30 eur for no name vino frizante. One of the worst price/quality ratio in my experience. P.S. Sorry, it was not a "no name vino frizante". It was vino frizzante "Piu", from producer "Costaross". Which is almost the same.

Great food! Super friendly waitresses! We were there on the steak day. Everything was very tasty and inexpensive. Absolutely to suggest!

We did not have to wait long for the feed and our drinks. That was great because we had a huge appetite that evening. I think the place is contemporary for all events - irrelevant whether with a partner, friends or clan ;-). Thanks. Surely I'm here with my friends and can count on being looked after immaculately. I have not been so fascinated by a place for a long time.

We had not found what we wanted on the lunch menu and just want to pay the water and then go. But the waiter really prevented us: he would ask the chef for advice. In fact, this came as soon as possible and gave us suggestions off the map, which we liked very much. What came then, was really outstanding! I have never experienced such a story. Conclusion: Go to the Brandner!

Sorry - but not at all. Waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come to the table to ask if we had already ordered. The remark that a card would be helpful led to a drinks menu. The question about food was answered with a short "food only from 6:30 pm". It was 6:55 p.m., the neighboring tables covered with a menu. And bye ... tip for the staff: even people who wear "only" black T-shirts sometimes have working credit cards. Now others are happy - never again ...

A well-coordinated menu at an attractive price. However, the single dish of homemade pasta with ruccola pesto was only mediocre (pasta too firm and glued). The service courteous, but a bit of chaos after two people operated the same tables. The view of the Danube makes up for it.

Excellent cuisine, which is second to none in Regensburg. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended, one of the best addresses in the city!
